Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Clare Bice (illustrator). Book Club Edition. Decent children's dog story from this Canadian artist and writer. This is one of five children's books he (yes, a male Clare) wrote and illustrated. First published in 1956, this is the Weekly Readers Children's Book Club edition of the following year. The textblock is quite browned, otherwise a very good copy indeed in a very good dust jacket, a little worn and nicked - particularly bottom edge of rear panel.
