Condition: very Good. Hardcover. There is no inscription in the front and no bookplates or markings of any other kind. This book contains all 16 original plates plus 8 additional full page color illustrations by Rackham, loose tissue guards all present with no plates or protection missing or removed. The gilt decoration to the outside boards is bright with the usual fading to exposed spine. The pages are clean and free of foxing. Seemingly rarer than the much reprinted Tanglewood Tales this early Rackham like many of his early works are often split up and sold seperately for their beautiful prints. A rare find in any condition.
