Cloth spine with pictorial onlay of girl in yellow dress, pictorial front cover shows two girls, one playing a whistle(?). 6 colour plates and b/w illustrations. 168 pages. First story is 'The Sea-Eagle' Nest' by Francklyn. The usual contributors for these albums Strang, Mrs Herbert & Francklyn, Phillippa & Stowell, Thora & Bruce, Dorita Fairlie & Darch, Winifred et al. For those interested Mrs Strang was the pseudonym of Charles L'Estrange and George Herbert Ely who wrote for boys as Herbert Strang this here the Mrs Herbert Strang reference is to these two co-authors
