G.A Henty was a war correspondent and English novelist celebrated for his literary contributions to the historical and adventure fiction genres throughout the 19th century. Henty primarily wrote children's literature catering to young boys, but further worked as a writer of adult-fiction and nonfiction, with occasional pursuit of short-story writing. True to the Old Flag reminisces graphically the American Revolution and the struggle of the determined soldiers involved.
